MAN SAYS ALIENS TRANSPORTED HIM FROM DUI CRASH
When in doubt, blame it on the aliens. A drunk driver in Georgia had an otherworldly excuse for leaving the scene of an accident recently. Joel Lankford allegedly crashed his vehicle into a fixed object, then fled, abandoning his injured female passenger during the early morning hours of Jan. 21. Cops were called to the scene and while there, a call came in about a prowler on the front porch of a nearby home. When officers responded to the home, they found Lankford. He reportedly told police that aliens had brought him there. He was arrested and charged with DUI.
WOMAN ROBS 2 BANKS IN 15 MINUTES
Gotta give her credit for being quick and efficient! Authorities in Washington, D.C. are looking for a woman who allegedly robbed two banks in about 15 minutes! On Monday, the woman walked into a PNC Bank, handed the teller a note demanding money, took the cash and then left. Minutes later, she entered a Bank of America and did the same thing! She claimed to have a gun but no weapon was shown at either robbery. Police released surveillance images in the hopes of catching her.

A Florida man was busted Sunday after he was caught driving a motorized cart through Walmart, while drinking an alcoholic beverage he had stolen off the store shelf. Cops say Timothy Carr was intoxicated as he drove through the aisles, knocking down items off shelves as he passed. Carr, a transient who couldn’t pay for the booze he had taken, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and retail theft, and since it was his third arrest for theft it was bumped up to a felony.
