The pop star vomited on-stage during the show, in the  middle of 'The Edge of Glory'

Are more musicians really vomiting themselves onstage nowadays, or is our  modern media echo chamber only making it seem that way?

Regardless, we’ve got to do something about our pop stars, as they’re clearly  getting run ragged by the physical demands of life on the road. The latest  victim: Lady Gaga, who Saturday night fell prey to the same mid-performance  purging bug that struck Justin Bieber a few weeks ago.

Gaga was onstage in Barcelona, right in the middle of “The Edge of Glory,” when the the trouble struck. Like Bieber, she capably diagnosed the situation  and took emergency maneuvers: hide behind backup dancers, turn back to audience,  retch, repeat. There must be some sort of Pop Star Survival Handbook out there  just for situations like these.
