'The Voice' contestants, coaches and hosts held cards  with the names of those who were killed in Friday's massacre as they sang  "Hallalujah"

NBC's 'The Voice'  opened Monday night's finale part 1 episode with a moving tribute to the victims  of the Newtown, Connecticut school shooting.

Led by coaches Christina  Aguilera, Cee Lo  Green, Blake  Shelton, Adam Levine  and hosts Carson Daly and Christina Milian, season 3 contestants held cards with the  names of those who were killed in Friday's massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary as  they sang Leonard Cohen's "Hallalujah" by candlelight.

Team Blake's Cassadee Pope and Terry McDermott battled it out with Team Cee  Lo's Nicholas David Monday night in their final performances. 'The Voice' will  crown a winner Tuesday night.
