Miguel chatted with Billboard magazine about working with Mariah Carey,  new music and what inspires him.

“I’m always looking for something that I haven’t seen before,” he told  Billboard. “[Also] something that’s going  to make an impact [by] using simple elements but creatively so it makes people think a bit.”

Miguel recently collaborated with Mariah for her single, “#Beautiful,” and it currently is resting at No. 24 on the Hot 100 charts.

“Mariah is, she is so fast. Her mind is is extremely sharp,” he said. “I  didn’t really know what to expect, how involved she would be creatively but … she was really behind the vision of ‘#Beautiful’ being a duet between her and I.  The video went with all of that. She’s a mastermind.”

UC Berkeley researchers discovered low amounts of lead, cadmium, chromium and aluminum in the cosmetics.

(Berkeley, CA)  A University of California study finds long-term use of lipsticks could possibly result in kidney problems and even cancer. After testing 32 top brands of lipsticks and lip glosses, UC  Berkeley researchers discovered low amounts of lead, cadmium, chromium and  aluminum in the cosmetics. Though short-term use of lip products containing those heavy metals likely poses no health risk, scientists are concerned that overexposure could be harmful.  Exposure to toxic metals has been linked to kidney disease and stomach tumors.

The cash payout would be just over $350 million

The Powerball jackpot is now over half a billion dollars.  Saturday's drawing for an estimated $550 million offers a cash payout of just over $350  million. It's the third biggest lottery jackpot in U.S. history after no grand prize tickets matched yesterday's drawing. Powerball is played in 43 states, Washington DC and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
